The Cuban Flavor Restaurant and Bar The Cuban Flavor Restaurant and Bar Friendswood, TX Friendswood, TX Full-time Full-time From $13 an hour From $13 an hour Duties - Oversee and manage the daily operations of the kitchen - Plan and prepare high-quality meals in accordance with established recipes and dietary guidelines - Ensure that food preparation and handling practices meet health and safety regulations - Supervise and train kitchen staff, including assigning tasks and monitoring performance - Coordinate catering services for special events or functions - Manage inventory and order supplies as needed - Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment Qualifications - Proven experience in food preparation, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting - Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment - Excellent supervisory and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team - Knowledge of dietary restrictions and ability to accommodate special dietary needs - Familiarity with shift management and ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends - Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Knowledge of kitchen management principles, including inventory control and cost management - Ability to handle food safely and follow proper sanitation procedures - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Note:
