Responsibilities:
The Medical Receptionist welcomes and greets all visitors in person and over the phone using proper business etiquette.
This position is also responsible for scheduling patient appointments in a professional and timely manner, keeping the reception area clean and organized, file maintenance, faxing, sorting and distributing mail, stocking office supplies, and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or GED required; relevant experience in lieu of High School Diploma/GED education will be considered.
MINIMUM WORK
Experience:
1-2 years in a medical office setting.
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong telephone etiquette required.
Proficient in Microsoft office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Professional and strong work ethic; the ability to anticipate needs, the ability to multi-task and follow HIPAA guidelines.
WORK SCHEDULE:
Normally scheduled 8-hour work days, Monday - Friday; however, additional hours may be required due to increase in workload, assignment and completion of special projects.
Must be flexible if required to work long or irregular hours.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
