Summary:
The Dishwasher produces and maintains high sanitation levels for keeping dishware, glass, and china clean and safely stored in the kitchen and surrounding areas.
Core
Responsibilities:
Use established guidelines to correctively utilize and maintain dish machine.
Wash glasses and dishes in a standard dish rack.
Wash pots and pans only in the pot washer's area.
Ensure that all cleaning is performed that is always required to keep the kitchen neat and clean; this includes sweeping up broken glass/dishes and mopping up any spills.
Empty full and heavy trash cans.
Make sure they are sprayed and sanitized after each use.
Place new trash bags in the container after each cleaning.
Ensure that the kitchen towels are placed in the washer at the end of your shift and washed.
Follow all Safety guidelines.
Perform other duties in other areas of the Kitchen as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
May be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property Focus and maintain attention to tasks and complete work assignments on time despite frequent interruptions Regular attendance according to established guidelines Ability to maintain excellent relationships with staff and always maintain staff and guest confidentiality Physical Requirements:
Stand and walk for varying lengths of time, often long periods of time.
Bend, stoop, squat, and stretch to fulfill cleaning requirements Exert physical effort in lifting, pushing and transporting one hundred (100) pounds Work takes place in an environment that can be hot, cold, and/or humid Repetitive motions, pulling, pushing, listening, and hearing ability, and visual ability Job Type:
